We have a Kindergartner!!

I know it's super-cliche, but I can't believe Levi's in school!!!  He started Kindergarten August 17th & LOVES it!  He's doing really well, loves his teacher and teacher's aide, makes friends really easily, and is so excited about learning.  We already had our first parent-teacher conference {am I really old enough for this????}

I get to help in his classroom every Monday & it's definitely something that he and I both look forward too.  He is so excited to go back to school after the weekend because Mom will be in his class that day, too :).  However, I am also excited that after the kiddos go to lunch, I stick around to do some prep work for a few minutes, but them I get to book it and go have lunch with Matt or run errands.  I'm not sure how teachers do it...that classroom with all those little munchkins is BUSY!

Here's a couple pics of his big, first day:

 (Weston wanted to hold the sign, too)
We LOVE YOU, Levi!

S'mores

We had lots of fun making s'mores in the crazy pit in our backyard a few weeks ago {we may be re-thinking the splash pad, since discovering another purpose of this spot...hmm}

They were super yummy and we had lots of fun! {& yes, this may be against some sort of fire code...oh well :)}

I can't wait for Fall!  I'm loving the cooler weather- aren't you?!

"I'm NOT TiReD!"

Weston's been doing this funny thing, where, whenever he's getting sleepy in the car- he starts telling us all that he's not tired.  When you reply to him, he just gets louder and {while rubbing his eyes} hollers back "I'm Not Tired", but we know better...right, Levi?!

Often this little episode happens on the drive home from church.  When you have to leave for church at 12:30 and don't get home 'til 4:30, this little boy is worn out! :)  What a goof~

T-ball

We've had so much fun watching Levi play T-ball for the past few weeks.  We weren't sure if he would like it or not, but he loves playing!  Weston is a fantastic spectator and has gotten really good at cheering his brother on and giving out 2-thumbs-ups.

For your viewing pleasure...

Levi's been in a preschool at a Gym for the past year and a half & has loved every minute.  He graduated in May and his little class (the older kiddos) danced to a Black Eyed Peas remix ... for all of you who missed out, check it out:
and now...Kindergarten, here we come!!!

Lil' Monsters & Carrot Pizza

So, Levi is REALLY into Superheroes these days...
 & Weston is all about these rain boots this week...

 & trying to be a Superhero like Levi...

Yesterday, we made pizza for lunch (yay for being home with the boys to play yesterday!).  Well, technically Sam's Club made the pizza and I paid $6.99 for not having to deal with dough, sauce and a flour-y kitchen mess, and we added yummy toppings!  I let the kids pick the toppings until they got a little too wild for my taste (i.e pickles & apples).

 Yep- those are carrots on our pizza; thinly sliced.  Turned out pretty yummy- my lil' monsters did a good job!

Beautiful Boys

I am so blessed to be your Mom...

Weekend in Thatcher

In what seems to be our new way of life- we spent another weekend away from home.  We got to spend last weekend in Thatcher with the Petersens to enjoy a baptism, Eagle scout court of honor & Grandpa Petersens 90th birthday!

We love spending time with our family & had a great couple of days.  We also heard some very exciting news while we were there...congrats Kellie & Andrew!!!

Happy 4th of July!

We've had a crazy couple of months.  After a trip to Colorado, followed by a week in California and a week in Arizona (we'll see if I get around to blogging any of that)- we enjoyed a middle-of-the-week holiday at home, which was so fun! We slept in and had a lazy day.

We had some friends over for BBQ & then had lots of fun playing with sparklers and ground fireworks.

I hope your 4th was just as fun!!

We survived!

We finally passed the one-year mark & what a roller-coaster it has been!!  It's great to have that behind us and finally, a great team in place.  Here's to an even better year 2...
